Monitoring for Conventional Drilling

Drilling fluid exiting the hole passes through the bell nipple and EKM^® auto-choke manifold to shale shakers or mud-gas separator (MGS). This setup captures and records real-time drilling parameters and mud volumetric rates, automatically generating warning messages if a kick or fluid loss is detected.

Monitoring for UBD or MPD Drilling

Drilling fluid exiting the hole passes through the RCD and EKM^® auto-choke manifold with the skid’s discharge line routing to either shale shakers or mud-gas separator (MGS). This setup activates the EKM^® Early Kick & Loss Monitoring System to capture and record real-time drilling parameters and mud volumetric rates, automatically generating warning messages if a kick or fluid loss is detected.
