Lost Circulation Material

LCM Products

LCM GT-N

GT-N is a LCM to be directly added into drilling or completion fluids for fluid loss control. It is produced from specialized flake, granular, and fibrous materials at controlled lengths and a proper size distribution, which makes it considerably more effective to stop a loss than using only single type of LCM.

GT-N is functional in both water-based and invert emulsion drilling fluids with minimal impact on base fluid properties. It can be mixed directly to a mud system or used in conjunction with other LCM materials.

GT-N has three kinds of specifications:

GT-N LCM Fine

GT-N LCM Medium

GT-N LCM Coarse

GT-N (F)

GT-N (M)

LCM GT-S

GT-S is another LCM to be added into drilling or completion fluids for luid loss control. It is produced from specialized flake, granular, and fibrous materials at controlled lengths and a proper size distribution, which makes it pretty more effective to cure a loss than using only single type of LCM. High acid solubility (92%) of this product makes it very suitable for temporarily plugging reservoir sections where a later acid treatments may be required to restore the permeability.

GT-S is functional in both water and invert emulsion drilling fluids systems with minimal effects on fluid properties. It can be mixed directly to a mud system or used in conjunction with other LCM materials.

Neotor® High Pressure Resistant LCM —— NTS-M

NTS-M is a LCM mixture with unique properties and is dominated with flake shaped particles of high temperature and pressure resistant materials. When lost to formation, the grain shaped particles in this LCM enter fractures deeply to establish bridges and increase the pressure resistance of near-wellbore zones, especially when a high pressure is applied. This also provides opportunities for different shaped particles to fill and compact under pressure and to form a tight layer.

Neotor® NT-DS LCM

NT-DS is composed of optimized micro particles of various types to control fluid losses into micro fractures and/or fractures. Bigger particles can establish bridges within fractures; smaller particles will fill the voids to further control the losses. It can be employed to stop seepage losses before drilling into a permeable or micro fractures formation.

MudPlug LCM

MudPlug is a water-soluble, temperature-responsive and high molecular polymer product. When added to water-based drilling fluid, it would produce a rubber-like gel in ring structures after 120 to 240 minutes. The strength of gel can be controlled by adding different treatment agents. This product can quickly transform a water-based drilling fluid into a LCM system to stop a lost circulation.
