MPD Drilling Supervisor
Qualification:
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Oil Drilling Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Required Experience:
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in oil/gas drilling services as an Drilling Supervisor/Engineer/Tool Pusher, with a proven track record of conducting drilling on more than 30 wells. (MPD/UBD drilling supervisor/engineer is preferred)
• Proven ability to adhere to and enforce the company's and client's HSE policies and regulations, supervising the MPD team accordingly.
• Competent in the proper operation and maintenance of MPD drilling equipment & RCD on-site.
• Capable of providing MPD operation orientation and training for rig crews and third parties on location.
• Experienced in leading Job Safety Analysis (JSA), shift safety meetings, and pre-job safety meetings on-site.
• Ensure that all MPD drilling operational procedures are followed completely.
• Skilled in the safe rig-up and rig-down of MPD drilling equipment.
• Conduct pressure tests and ensure the proper functioning of MPD drilling systems before commencing operations on-site.
• Lead crews to work safely and efficiently, fostering a culture of safety and productivity.
• Responsible for preparing MPD drilling equipment in advance and managing the transportation of equipment for mobilization and demobilization.
• Conduct rig site visits to plan the placement and connections of MPD drilling equipment from rig equipment.
• Review and approve Daily Drilling Reports (DDRs), End-of-well reports, and other relevant documentation.
• Communicate effectively with the client's supervisor, rig crew, and third parties on-site to ensure that MPD drilling operations are conducted properly, safely, and efficiently.
• Emphasize and communicate potential work hazards and risks on-site, ensuring all personnel are aware and prepared.
• Good English in listening, reading, speaking and writing.
MPD Drilling Engineer
Qualification:
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Oil/GAS Drilling Engineering or a related field.
Required Experience:
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in oil/gas drilling services as an Drilling Supervisor/Engineer, with a proven track record of conducting drilling on more than 30 wells. (MPD/UBD drilling supervisor/engineer is preferred)
• Proficient in running flow modeling to prepare MPD drilling programs and maintaining effective communication with the client.
• Capable of preparing Daily Drilling Reports (DDRs), Forward Plan, End-of-Well (EOW) reports, etc. for the MPD Drilling Supervisor's review.
• Monitor MPD drilling data and promptly report any abnormalities to the relevant personnel.
• Competent in all documentation management, including reports, forward plans, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and safety meeting topics.
• Competent in setting up all necessary data in the MPD drilling system to ensure MPD drilling control system running properly.
• Ensure that all MPD drilling operational procedures are followed completely.
• Prepare all required documentation as requested by the MPD Drilling Supervisor and the client.
• Capable of rigging up and rigging down DAS.
• Good English in listening, reading, speaking and writing.
DAS Engineer/Technician
Qualification:
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical and Information Engineering, or a related field.
Required Experience:
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in oil/gas drilling services as a Mud Logger Engineer/MWD&PWD Engineer, with a proven track record of conducting drilling on more than 20 wells. (MPD/UBD Mud Logger Engineer/MWD&PWD Engineer is preferred).
• Thoroughly familiar with MPD/UBD drilling operation procedures.
• Capable of rigging up and rigging down all sensors, cables, computers, and other equipment connected to the MPD IPCs system.
• Competent in setting up MPD drilling computers, systems, and managing data transfer and reception between the mud logger/MWD/Client's computers and IPCs.
• Skilled in operating MPD drilling software effectively and troubleshooting any issues that may arise from the MPD IPCs and PLC system.
• Able to work according to the instructions and requirements of the MPD Drilling Supervisor and Engineer.
• Monitor MPD drilling data, record job log and promptly report any abnormalities to the relevant personnel.
• Capable of recording MPD drilling operations and preparing Daily Drilling Reports (DDRs).
• Proficient in writing DAS reports and communicating effectively with software and PLC engineers in office.
• Good English in listening, reading, speaking and writing.
MPD Choke/RCD Operator
Qualification:
• A minimum of a Vocational High School diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Required Experience:
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in oil/gas drilling services as a Drilling operator, with a proven track record of conducting drilling on more than 20 wells. (MPD/UBD drilling operator is preferred)
• Thoroughly familiar with MPD/UBD drilling operation procedures.
• Competent in inspecting and maintaining gate valves, choke valves, Hydraulic Power Units (HPUs), Rotating Control Devices (RCDs), and other related equipment.
• Capable of working according to the instructions and requirements of the MPD Drilling Supervisor and Engineer.
• Skilled in rigging up and rigging down all MPD equipment.
• Competent in pressure test for MPD equipment and any components.
• Responsible for managing parts inventory, preparing reports, and maintaining MPD equipment maintenance records.
• Proficient in operating and maintaining RCDs.
• Ensures full compliance with Job Safety Analysis (JSA), QA/QC, HSE and HAZID/HAZOP.
• A minimum of a Vocational High School diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Good English in listening, speaking and writing.
